We had planned to go to the museum today but with four kids 5 and under there's a good chance things can change. And of course, last night none of the kids wanted to sleep, and when they finally did it was in MY BED. So, needless to say, I didn't get much sleep and neither did they. So I decided I didn't want to haul them around town with a likely chance of meltdowns and fit-throwing. So we stayed home and made our own museum.

I get out all our craft bins and this is the first thing Gage comes up with.

The kids decided that any good museum has dinosaurs, so that was our first exhibit.

After the kids realized it wasn't going to be nearly as big as the "real museum", they got a little discouraged. So I suggested a volcano, and that cheered them up.

Hayley couldn't stand the smell of the vinegar. I thought she was going to hurl.

It didn't matter how many times it erupted, they still got excited!

Even Bode loved seeing the volcano erupt!

I think we ended up having a pretty fun day at the museum after all!
